Questions for Discussion
Getting to Know You: What is the biggest project or mission you have ever been part of? How did your participation affect you?
- What are some reasons that Jesus would have been thirsty? Physiologically, what would have been going on in a person suffering as Jesus did?
- What do you imagine would have been the worst part of Jesus’s betrayal, arrest, torture, and crucifixion? Why?
- What did Jesus “finish” on the cross? How have you been transformed by His “finished” work?
- In His Great Commission, Jesus said “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”. How does this directive from the Lord affect how the church should operate?
- If God were to call you to the mission field, where do you imagine He might send you? Why?
- How do you feel about increasing or making your first missions pledge?
Life Application: Begin praying today and seek the will of the Lord as to your role in the Great Commission.
