  2. Why do you think the Savior of the world was born in an obscure village, to parents of humble means, and laid in a manger?
  3. Why do you think God chose to announce the birth of Jesus to the shepherds?
  4. Do you think Mary and Joseph understood the full significance of the child they brought into the world?
  5. What three titles are given to Jesus in Luke 2:11? What is significant about them?
  6. What effect has the news of Christ’s birth had on you?
